Asian Art Museum

Here is a quick picture from the Terra-cotta soldiers display that was at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco.  This was my first real double exposure shot.  Basically what that means is that I shot one picture and then repositioned and shot a second picture.  For a film camera, this would be accomplished by not advancing the film and adjusting your exposure settings.  For the digital camera, one has to make sure the camera can support it or use a different shuttering mechanism to limit the light getting into the camera.  For me, the D7000 does allow multiple exposure (2 or 3) shots and combines them together.  This is a 2 shot picture.  The colored soldier was a small picture hanging on the wall.  If you look closely, you will see the colored soldier twice.  The extreme right and small picture is from the first shot and is the plaque next to the terra-cotta soldier.
